He has lived in Roch...What about Randy Cunneyworth? He has lived in Rochester with his family for 25+ years. He played hockey for the Rochester Americans and several NHL teams before becoming the Amerks coach. After coaching the Amerks for 8 or so years, he held coaching positions in the NHL including time as the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens. After spending time on the coaching staff at the University of New Hampshire and Bowling Green State University, Wayne took the job as the head coach at RIT. In his time there, he led the team as they transitioned from Division III to Division I. He is the first coach in college hockey to win both the Spencer Penrose Award and the Edward Jeremiah Award recognizing him as the coach of the year at both the Division III and Division I levels.
